Welcome to AfriBiz. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the AfriBiz platform, website (afribiz.africa), and related services.

1. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws.

2. Business Listings

Requirements

• Provide accurate and truthful business information
• Maintain current contact details and operating hours
• Own or have authorization to list the business
• Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations

Prohibited Listings

• Illegal operations or fraudulent activities
• Adult entertainment or explicit content
• Hate speech or discrimination
• Unlicensed financial or medical services

3. Vouches and Reviews

Authenticity

Users submitting vouches represent and warrant that they have had a genuine interaction with the business and the vouch reflects their honest opinion.

Prohibited Practices

• Submitting false, fake, or misleading vouches
• Vouching for your own business
• Paying for or incentivizing fake vouches
• Using automated systems to generate vouches

4. Fees and Payments

Premium features are available for a fee, including priority placement, enhanced profile features, and verification badges.

5. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited: illegal activities, fraud, adult content, hate speech, violence, and any violation of local or international laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of business listings or vouches. Users should independently verify information before engaging with any business.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or at our sole discretion.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Côte d'Ivoire. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Abidjan.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or platform notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
